Protests | Colombia

Demonstration supporting Colombian striking workers in front of the Colombian Consulate in New York City on Oct. 12th organized by the Professional Staff Congress-City University of New York, the AFT local of City University faculty and staff. The union emphasized that a teacher is murdered every two weeks in Colombia. The PSC-CUNY has been very supportive of the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke. The Campaign also supported and participated in the demonstration.

Rally in front of the Colombian Consulate in Toronto, Canada, on Sept. 16th endorsed by the Canadian Auto Workers, United Steelworkers of America, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Fed., Oakville and District Labour Council and others.
